Burial to occur in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Giddens was born on May 27, 1933 in Tifton and was the daughter of Leonard Floyd Yancey and Lola Belle Worley Yancey, both deceased.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ernest Giddens, who died on October 25, 2011; one son, Emory Giddens; two brothers, Harold Yancey and Ivan Yancey; one sister, Willie Belle Ogletree; and two grandsons, Brian Guess and Brent Guess.
