Born June 4, 1929 in Aquilla, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2012 in Mesquite, Texas. Preceded in death by her loving husband Hassie D. Yancey and parents W.T. and Gertrude Hulme. Survived by son Michael D. Yancey and wife Ellen, daughter Donna Thomason and husband Kevin, 3 granddaughters Shelbi Thomason, Lauren and Leanne Yancey and numerous close friends. Gladys loved to play card games with her dearest friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on June 13, 2012 at Roselawn in Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Thursday June 14, 2012 at Roselawn with Bro. John Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Valley View beside her beloved husband Hassie D. Yancey.
