Fukado, Mary Meiko Mary Meiko Fukado, 87, passed away on April 13, 2007, in Bozeman, after a short illness. She was born November 27, 1919, in Harlowton, MT, to Gehei and Yoshi Yamamoto. Mary lived her childhood in Harlowton and graduated from Harlowton High School. She married Kae Fukado in Miles City, on November 4, 1940. They made their home in Laurel, where they raised their family of one son and two daughters, Terry, Linda, and Alice. Mary was employed for 22 years with Transamerica Film Service in Billings, as a photo finisher, retiring in 1978. She kept in touch with many of her co-workers throughout her retirement years. Mary found her life's happiness with her husband, Kae, and by selflessly giving to her many close friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her parents and husband; brothers, Barry and Roy; and sister, Kotoko. Surviving are her son, Terry Fukado of Bozeman; daughter, Linda Boyd and husband Bob of San Francisco; daughter, Alice Wilson and husband Tom of Bozeman; eight grandchildren, Marc Wilson, Kristina Boyd, Kyle Wilson, Bob Boyd, Glenys Holmberg, Roger Boyd, Kelly Wilson, and Tim Wilson; brother, George Yamamoto and wife Bette of Sequim, WA; brother, Tom Yamamoto and wife Pearl of Quincy, WA; brother-in-law, Toru Fukado of Laurel; and several cousins, nieces, a nephew, and great grandchildren. A private burial service for family will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on May 17, 2007, prior to a memorial service for friends and family scheduled at 3:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel with Ron Todd as the officiating minister.
