Mrs. I. Scott Barnhart, one of Monroe Township's most excellent Christian ladies, died in the Brookville Hospital, Monday, January 9, 1928, from septicemia following an illness of about eleven weeks.
The deceased was a daughter of William and Martha Switzer Wyman, of Sligo, where she was born in August 16, 1869.
She was married to Mr. I. Scott Barnhart, of Monroe Township, on May 30, 1890. They established their home at Mr. Barnhart's farm, following their marriage, and have resided there ever since.
She leaves her husband, one daughter, Mrs. J. P. McCauley, one son, J. Ross Barnhart, and 3 grandchildren, all living in the same community and her mother now aged 82 years and two brothers, J. O. and P. O. Wyman, and one sister, Mrs. Clyde McKee, of Sligo, to mourn their great loss of wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandma. She was a faithful Christian woman and a member of the Reformed Church at Frogtown, where the funeral services were held last Thursday, the services being conducted by Rev. R. E. Kiern of Limestone and Rev. B. J. Watkins of Sligo. The interment was made in the Frogtown Cemetery.

Nettie Roduska, daughter of William and Martha (Switzer) Wyman, born at Sligo, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, August 16, 1869. Her grandfather, George Wyman, born in Germany, died in New Castle, PA; his wife, Catharine Bigley, of Irish birth, died at Sligo, about 1875. They came to Huntingdon County, PA, and thence at an early date to Clarion County.
Mrs. Barnhart's maternal grandfather, Samuel Switzer, also an early settler in Clarion County, died in 1888, at the age of eighty-one; his wife was Catharine Reece. William Wyman was born in Huntingdon County, in 1840, died February 22, 1896. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served three years; was a Republican, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Martha (Switzer) Wyman was born in Licking Township, Clarion County, in 1845, and is now living at Sligo.
