Pauline Marguerite Veinotte, 73, Newburne, Lunenburg County, died Saturday, July 27, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Waterloo, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Gladys (Zwicker) Wyle. She was a teacher and taught for over twenty years in small rural schools, New Germany Rural High School and West Northfield Elementary School. She wrote a history book entitled "Newburne Then and Now 1837-1987." She was active in her community and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by two daughters, Iris (Mrs. Warren Veinotte), Newburne; Laverne (Mrs. Robert Slauenwhite), Margaretsville; two sisters, Kathleen (Mrs. Eldridge Milbury), Newburne; Muriel (Rita) (Mrs. Laurie MacKay), Stanley Section; a brother, Lyman Wyle, Waterloo; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil; a sister, Merna Hirtle. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral home, Bridgewater, with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bridgewater, with Bishop Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Newburne Cemetery. Family flowers only.
