Etta Mae Wright Sarver a lifelong resident of Havre de Grace, died January 26 in Perryville, Maryland. She was 86. Born in Sylvatus, VA she was the daughter of the late Thomas Albert Wright and the late Alva Eva (Horton) Wright. She was the oldest of 11 children.

Mrs Sarver retired from the Kiwi Shoe Company where she was an Quality Inspector. She was an avid BINGO Player. Mrs. Sarver loved gardening and planting flowers, was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves Fan, During her school years she was an excellent Basketball player, loved keeping babies and children, enjoyed reading, She was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sarver was predeceased by her loving husband, the late William Earl Sarver.

Mrs. Sarver is survived by her Jerry Thomas Long of Bradenton, Florida, her daughters Judy Ann Haggett of Perryville, MD, Eva Susan Sarver of Havre de Grace, MD

A Special Niece Nancy Elizabeth Johnson-Walk of Wytheville, VA and adored nephew Robert Walk husband of Nancy Johnson-Walk. Her loving grandchildren Trina Lyn Long and Richard Franklin Long of Maiden, NC, Robert Michael Mays and Lyndsay Nicole Sherman of Havre de Grace, MD, Jake Thomas Long of Bradenton, FL, her treasured step -grandchildren Nancy Jane Brown of Deale, Maryland, Kenneth Charles Mays of Elkridge, Maryland, LaDon Christine Hinchey of Churchville, Maryland who was preceded in death by her father The late William Arthur Haggett, Sr. Her great-grandchildren Colin Michael Mays of Havre de Grace, MD and Amber Marie Long of Maiden, NC, and her step-great-grandchildren Joshua Edward Adams of Deale, Maryland, Maggie Anne Adams of Deale, Maryland, Casey Mays of Elkridge, Maryland and Joanne Marie Sharer of Texas.

She was the sister of, the late James Clifton Wright, the late William Wayne Wright, the late Olen Earl Wright, the late Claude Wright, the late Albert Thomas Wright, and the late Harold Bell Wright, Katherine Elizabeth Johnson of Hillsdale, VA, Betty Ruth Wright-Edwards of Galax, VA, Alice Ann McMillan of Hillsville, VA, and the late Allah Jean Wright Dowdy.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mitchell-Smith Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland, 21078. Services will immediately follow with Rev. Edward Heydt officiating.

Internment will be at Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD 200 N. Ohio St. Havre de Grace, Maryland21078. Pallbearers will be Robert Walk, Robert Michael Mays, Joseph Sharer, Josh Adams, and Rickey Long and honorary pallbearer Jerry Long. Contributions can be made to.
