WEYERS CAVE — Mrs. Isa Pearl Diehl, 69, of Rt. 1, Weyers Cave died Monday night at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health two years.

She was born Dec. 11, 1901 at Dayton and was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Maggie Liskey Wright.

Mrs. Diehl was a member of Summit Church of the Brethren, the women's Bible class and the church's Grace Glick circle.

On Nov. 9, 1927, she married Trosel J. Diehl, who survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Raymond C. Diehl of Weyers Cave, Paul J. and Rollin L. Diehl, both of Singers Glen, Robert H. Diehl of McGaheysville and Earl F. Diehl of Staunton; three daughters, Mrs. Willard Taylor and Mrs. Philip High, both of Timberville, and Mrs. Raymond Lotts of Ft. Defiance; a sister, Mrs. J. Harold Wampler of Mt. Crawford; four brothers, Perry J. Wright of Mt. Crawford, Charles L Wright of Mt. Sidney and E. E. and Roy C. Wright, both of Bridgewater, and 16 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at the Summit Church of the Brethren by the Rev. John Byers and the Rev. Wilmer Hurst. Burial will be in Pleasing Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roy Evers, Carroll Dennison, Golden Brunk, Jessee Glick, Carlton Ruff and Joe H. Craun.

The body is at the W. L. Rosenberger Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Diehl home and will meet there 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
