LEROY WHIGHT DEAD

Well Known Farmer of Country South of Elwood Passes Away

Leroy Wright, 62, one of the well known farmers of the southern part of the township, died at an early hour Sunday morning at an Indianapolis hospital where he was taken several days ago. Funeral Director Clark brought the body to the chapel and it was later taken to his residence three miles south and one-half mile east of Elwood. Mr. Wright was one of the highly esteemed citizens of this community and had many friends who will extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. He is survived by the widow and two children, Mrs. Faulty Hinds and Chase Wright. The funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. DeMiller and the burial in the city cemetery will be in charge of the Masonic fraternity, of which he had long been a member. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lissle Orr, of Arcadia, and Mrs. John Star key of Elwood; two half-brothers and three half-sisters, Oscar Wright, Mrs. Milo Gibson, Miss Laura Wright, of Elwood, Mrs. Margaret Wiley of Bluffton, and Eldon Wright of Indianapolis.
