Betty Esther Sinclair Worth, 74, died of complications due to a stroke Mar 21, in a Great Falls care facility.
Betty was born in Browning on May 16, 1936, to William and Clara (Salois) Sinclair. She grew up on the family ranch on Birch Creek and then moved to Rising Wolf. The family moved to Browning, where she attended school.
Throughout her life, Betty held a variety of jobs including at the Hagerty Hotel, Greco Drug Store, Eagle Shields, Village Coin Laundry, Glacier Drug, Todd's Steak House and Joe Lewis' Café until she purchased the Red Crow Kitchen. She owned and operated the Red Crow Kitchen for more than 20 years, until her retirement.
Betty enjoyed many hobbies, including embroidery, gardening, macramé and beading, but she especially enjoyed crocheting. Her first love was cooking, as anyone can attest to if they ever had the opportunity to eat at the Red Crow or have one of her special one-of-a-kind "blue milk-shakes."
She is survived by her children, Ralph "Buddy" Sinclair, Claire Ann Worth and Nakki Sinclair, all of Browning; siblings Anna Dean Heisel, Galen Sinclair, Gail Augare and Junie Powell, all of Browning; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; son Voris Jay Worth; grandson Rusty Weasel Tail; and sisters LaVerne Crieger, Helen Rawlings, Bonnie Wippert and Rayetta Mann.
