Stephen Noah Worden, retired Lodi rancher, passed away Wednesday in Blythe, Calif.
Worden, 81, was born in a log cabin in South Russell, St Lawrence County, New York. He came to Lodi four years ago. He was the husband of the late Jeanette Worden.
Other survivors are a son, Weyland Worden, Montrose: a stepson, Dr. Donald Gilb, Courtland, N.Y.; a daughter, the late Andre Roth, Haiti; grandchildren, Ariel Roth, Nancy Worden and Eviere Hilgart; a brother, Joseph R. Worden, Lodi.
He was the uncle of John Worden and Mrs. Ray Lytle, both of Lodi; Ray Worden, Southgate; Mrs. Mable Dart, Loma Linda; Ted Hallifax, Stockton, and Merle and Leon Thompson, both of Burt, N.Y. Mr. Worden was the grandfather of the late Dr. Lionel Roth, North Carolia.
Interment in Cherokee Memorial Park
