Harry Worden, Former Burt Hotelman, Dies

OLCOTT - Harry Worden, 67, of 5978 Main St., Olcott, died Wednesday (April 5, 1961) at Inter-Community Memorial Hospital at Newfane after being ill for about a month.
Mr. Worden was born Oct. 29, 1893, in Lockport, the son of Charles and Alzina Bixler Worden. He had lived in Olcott for 23 years. At one time Mr. Worden ran the Burt Hotel for a three-year period and immediately afterward ran Worden's Manor Restaurant, Olcott, for another three years. He retired from Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp., in January 1959 after being employed as a machinest for 17 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Worden, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Loraine Dorroch of Lockport.
Friends may call at their convenience at the Glenn H. Corwin Funeral Home Inc., 2670 Main St. Newfane, beginning tomorrow afternoon where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral services will be held at 2 Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Phillip W. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport.
