Note: In the Antietam National Cemetery there is a headstone (#3669) displaying the name of Corporal Andrew Woomer. In the Regimental History of the 125th PA VI (p. 89, now a 'Public Domain' document), Lieut. Thomas McCamant testifies to witnessing the remains of Corp. Woomer being shipped back to Blair County. If Lieut McCamant is correct there lies an unknown under Corp. Woomer's headstone at Antietam National Cemetery. Contributed by Donald Coho, thank you.
