Pearl Augusta Bail, 89, Lancaster, Ohio, died Thursday January 10, 2002 at Fairfield Medical Center after a brief illiness.
She was born August 19, 1912, in Hocking County, the daughter of the late Noah and Bessie (Higgins) Woolever. She was the widow of Samuel F. Bail, who died in 1969.
She was a homemaker, a retired assembly worker from Essex Wire in Lancaster, Ohio with 25 years service, and a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Lancaster, Ohio.
She is survived by son, Lonnie J. "Jake" (Mary Ann) Bail of Logan, Ohio; daughter, Leola Jean Keffer of Wake Forrest, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren,; very special friend, William Rose of Lancaster, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Bail; three brothers; and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery Logan, Ohio with the Rev. Rick L. Bennington officiating. Burial will follow.
There will be no callin hours observed.
Arrangements are being handled with Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the charity of one's choice.
