MRS MARGARET L BARR
NEWTON FALLS – Mrs. Margaret L. Barr, 72, Route 2, Newton Falls, died at 8:12 a.m. Monday in Imperial Nursing Home, Warren.
She was born June 20, 1909, in Wheeling, W.Va., the daughter of William and Rosa Lockhart Woolard.
On Sept. 28, 1930, she married Kenneth S. Barr, who died in 1980.
Mrs. Barr was a member of Braceville Christian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ann Saksa and Mrs. June Hymes of Newton Falls, Mrs. Yvonne Holdorf of Baltimore, Md.; five sons, Louis of Massillon, William of Leavittsburg, Bruce, Gene and Kenneth of Warren; three brothers, Floyd E. Woolard in West Virginia, Arthur Woolard of Parkersburg, W.Va, Leonard Woolard of Ravenna; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Morgan of Diamond, Mrs. Ida Boring of Newton Falls, Mrs. Thelma Harris in West Virginia; 20 grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Claude and James Woolard preceded her in death.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home. Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
