ALBERT J WOODWORTH--64:
Word was received in Meadville Saturday of the death of Albert Woodworth, which occurred Friday [3-27] at Detroit MI. He was formerly a resident of Meadville & was a candy salesman. He was a member of the Meadville Hive of Maccabees & Cussewago Lodge-103-IOOF. The remains will be brought to Meadville for interment,

ALBERT J WOODWORTH: whose remains were brought to Meadville Monday & whose funeral will be held from Byham Chapel this afternoon, was struck by an auto & so severely injured that his death occurred 15 minutes later. The driver, Harry Lennehan was arrested & held to answer to the charge of homicide, it being alleged he was driving recklessly when his machine struck Woodworth. MrWoodworth had a large number of Meadville friends who will mourn his untimely end. While living here years ago he was interested in a chocolate chip factory & also employed at the plant of Beeman Oil Can Co.
His wife [Emeline A Betts], who was a sister of DanielF Betts-formerly of Meadvl-now of Akron OH, died at her home on MeadAve several years ago. He was a member of Meadville Tent-83-Knights of the Tented Macabees. {Interment in Greendale Cem}
