Ina W. Bragg, 84, of 950 11th St., and a lifelong resident of Marion, died May 11 in a Cedar Rapids hospital. She was born the daughter of Mark and Mary Sommers Woodward on Aug. 22, 1892 at Marion. On Dec. 24, 1924 at Marion she was married to Albert B. Bragg who died Feb. 9, 1973. She graduated from Marion High School in 1910, and attended Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Rapids Business College, and Coe College. Mrs. Bragg spent four summers with the Keith Vawter Chautauqua, and taught 46 years, which included four years in Miller, S.D., two years in rural Iowa schools, two years at Palo, and 38 years in Marion city schools. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian church, the Cornerstones, Cary club, Milwaukee Women's club and Chapter No. 183 O.E.S.
Surviving are a son, Donald E. Bragg of Minneapolis, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. J.A. Beeson of Marion.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13 at the Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Jay A. Miller. Interment was in Cedar Memorial Park.
