Ryan was not your average 23 year old college student. He had a love and passion for life and people that flowed into everything he did. His smile was so genuine and frequent that you would be hard-pressed to find a single picture where he wasn't smiling. He had a deep love and dedication to family. He also had a love for children and felt so blessed to have the opportunity to work and play with them as part of the children's ministry at his church, and each and every day at Wilder Elementary where he worked. He loved them and treated them like they were his own little brothers and sisters.

He was also a lover of football, basketball, video games, and competition of all kinds. He wanted to be the best at whatever he did. He loved his Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Lakers and spent many Sunday afternoons sitting with Mom and Dad cheering them on. Most of all, he loved God and allowed the love of Christ to serve as his guiding light. His presence will be missed by all who knew him and this little planet will never be the same because he was here.

Services for Ryan A. Woodward, 23, who passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 27 at the First Assembly of God Church in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
