Lula Woods Alexander

GLEASON - Lula Woods Alexander, 86, homemaker, died of heart failure Tuesday at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gallimore Funeral Home with burial in West Union Cemetery. She was a member of New Valley Methodist Church. Mrs. Alexander, the wife of Ira Alexander, also leaves two daughters, Norma Perkins of McKenzie and Becky Verdell of Gleason; two sons, Joe Alexander and Lendell Alexander, both of Gleason; a sister, Elaine Auvenshine of Lansing, Mich., 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
