Chrystal Woodruff Perry

Chrystal Woodruff Perry, passed away on June 9, 2006, in Provo, Utah. She was born on August 16, 1911, in Vernal, Utah, to Henry Eugene and Mary Myrtle Karren Woodruff. She met Arnold S. Perry in Vernal. They were married May 13, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She attended school in Vernal and took many night classes in Provo at BYU. Chrystal was very versed in the scriptures. She loved the scriptures, and the hymns of the LDS Church. She worked in the MIA, Primary and Sunday School. A favorite thing for her was to teach her children, grandchildren and others of the gospel.

Mom loved her family. She has always been there to show love and kindness, helping everyone that she loved. Many friends and family will miss her.

She loved growing flowers, especially roses. Things in her garden grew so fast.

Chrystal and her husband, Arnold, served a mission to the London Temple Mission. They served for 22 months. She also served with Dad in the Provo Temple, as ordinance workers.

We will miss her wisdom and smiling face; but, now she has gone on to a happier place.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Woodruff and Manford Woodruff; her parents; two sons, Darrell D. Perry and Gareld W. Perry; and by her husband, Arnold.

She is survived by her sisters: Estella W. Glines of Mesa, AZ; and Helen W. Offrett (Richard) of Vernal, UT; daughter, Belva P. Richardson (Alan), of Centennial, CO; son, Dallas G. Perry (Annette), of Salt Lake City, UT; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

At the time of her passing, she resided at Cove Point Assisted Living Center in Provo, Utah.
