She was the daughter of the late Frank and Jenny (Sage) Woodman.
On May 28, 1952, Lulu and Charles Ball were united in marriage in Bay City. Charles preceded her in death on March 30, 1995.
After receiving her master's degree, Lulu was a teacher in the Wade School, Port Hope Schools and retired from the Harbor Beach Community Schools.
Lulu was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Harbor Beach and after retiring, she enjoyed needlework, visiting with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, doing puzzles and watching old-time movies.
