Survived by mother, Evangelist Geneva Ford; father, Charles (Kate) Wooden; husband, Lester Brown; children, Carlos Head, Lester Brown, Denise Head, Cindy Head, and Nosha Brown; two brothers; four sisters; eight grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at J. MARTIN SMITH MORTUARY, 1173 E. Hudson St. 447-9383. Evangelist Geneva Ford, officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
