Mrs. Wood was a member of the First M. E. church and also of the Women's Benefit association Lady Maccabees. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: W. J., of Meadville; Claude l., John A., Oil City; Charles E. Masury, O.; Mrs. Ida B. Carnes, Sharpsville, Pa., and Mrs. Jennie L. [Note-illegible] of Greenville; also by the following brothers and sisters: William A. Putnam of Grand Valley, Pa.; Roland R., West Hickory, Pa., Homer E., Youngstown, O.; Walter M., Meadville; Carlton E. Michigan; Mrs. J. C. [Note: illegible], Bradford; Mrs. L. W. Phillips, Townville; Mrs. Mildred E. Thompson, Vivian, La., and Mrs. Horace Vusburg of Centreville. There are sixteen grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the home at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
