Billy Ray Womble, 71, of Hayti, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

He was born Aug. 19, 1942.

He worked his entire life as a master electrician before retiring home to Hayti in 1988.

He was married to Doris Faye Young on Dec. 8, 1962, and to the couple two sons were born.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Base and Lena Fay Womble; two brothers, Ronnie and Dennis Womble; and a sister, Joy Watkins.

He is survived by his two sons, Terry Womble of Jonesboro and Kevin Womble of Germany, as well as three grandchildren, Brian Womble, Tyler Womble and Justin Womble. Surviving siblings include Betty Schmitz of St. Louis, Patsy Sandlin of Pearl, Miss., Pamela Layman of Caruthersville, Mo., Brenda Westbrook of Paragould and Susan Hall of Hayti.

Services were in John W. German Funeral Home Chapel at Hayti. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
