Funeral services for Louie McMillan Womack, 101, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2006 at Sweetwater Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Stuart Toms and Bro. Danny Stevenson. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery in Quitman, LA. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Edmonds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Womack passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1904 in Arcadia, LA and she was a housewife.

Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her husband, Shug Womack; her mother and father, Dolphus and Annie McMillan; one son, Sonny Womack; two brothers, Walter and Colvy McMillan; three sisters, Opal Driskill, Clytie McMillan and Mercille Dowtain.

She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Stewart of Quitman, LA, Claudine Turnbow of Quitman, LA; two sons, Murlin L. Womack and wife Willie R. of Quitman, LA, Thurlin (Bill) Womack and wife Mary of Quitman, LA; thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
