Russian Prince. He was an artist, a pupil of his mother, Maria princess of Wolkonsky. Landscape painter. First studied in Ernest Laurent. Then in 1923 in London and then in Paris. In 1925 he married Irina Sergeevna Rahmaninova (1903-1969) and they had a daughter Sophia Petrovna Wolkonaskaya (Venemeker).
