Rose N. Ford, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away June 7, 2011. She was born July 20, 1926 in Greensburg, IN, to the late Henry and Nell (Hamer) Wolford. Rose married Marlin A. Ford, April 4, 1948, and was employed for 16 years as a payroll clerk for the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township, retiring in 1988. She was a longtime member of Franklin Road Baptist Church.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Marlin A. Ford; children, Michael A. Ford (Barbara), Donald R. Ford (Cathy), and Cheryl A. Walker (Kelvin R.); grandchildren, Marcia L. Thompson (Ross), Brian M. Ford (Anthea), Jason R. Ford (Cindy), Sharissa L. Johnson (Greg), Christopher R. Walker, Daniel T. Walker and Melissa A. Walker; and eight great grandchildren.
