Mrs. M. Ella Bannon
Geigertown, April 7 -- Ms. M. Ella (Wolfe) Bannon, 62, former rural Berks school teacher, died in the Chester County Hospital, West Chester. She was a daughter of the late Horace and Emma (Geiger) Wolfe, and was born in Pottstown.
Mrs. Bannon spent her early life in the vicinity of Birdsboro and this place. She taught school for many years at Unionville and Glades School, near Hopewell. Surviving are six children, Catharine, of Reading; Theodore, of East Earl; Clyde, of Pottstown; Forace, of Coatesville;Clara, of Reading, and Chester, U.S. Army, stationed at Camp Blanding, Fla.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Wolfe, of Paperville, and Hunter, of Kennet Square, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Lykens, of Birdsboro.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Famous Funeral Home, West Chester. Services at 3 p.m. in St. Paul's Methodist Church, this place, the Rev. Levi W. Zerr officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
