He was born Aug. 18, 1920, in Blachly to Ervin and Clara (Petersdorf) Wolfe.
Wolfe graduated from Triangle Lake High School in 1939. He worked as a catskinner in logging and road building.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Giles of Harrisburg; a son, Jerry of Horton; one sister, Nellie Elam of Pinehurst, Idaho; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife, Wilma (known as "Sally") died in 1999, and a daughter, Katherine Clay, died in 1994.
Raymond was also preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Clara; a brother, Harold; a brother, Osburne; and a sister, June. His sister, Margaret, died the following year in 2008.
