Mrs. Minnie Dohner Cox, eighty-four, widow of Walter "Tommy" Cox, 58 E. Pine St., Ephrata, died unexpectedly at her home Monday night. She had been under the care of a physician.
Mrs. Cox, whose husband had died in November, 1960, was born in Manheim Twp., a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Dohner Witwer. She was a member of Hope Evangelical United Brethren Church since 1898, and was a member and former Sunday school teacher in the church school. She also held membership in the Pioneer Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Surviving are these sons and daughters: Chester P. with whom she resided; Charles E. Highspire; Mary C., wife of Earl W. Englert, Ephrata; and Edna, wife of Rodney L. Shaub, Freeland.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and these sisters and brothers: Mrs. Elizabeth Gockley; Mrs. Cora Reinhold and Ben D. Witwer, all of Ephrata; Katie, wife of William Brendle, Lancaster; David Witwer, Christiana RD; and Caroline, wife of Edwin Burkhart, Akron.
