Mary Wisneski, 93, of New Kensington, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009. Born Jan. 30, 1916, in Ford City, daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Grogno, she lived most of her life in New Kensington. Mrs. Wisneski was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion of Lower Burrell, and the Greater Beneficial Union. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are her children, Edward J. (Patricia) Wisneski, of Arnold, Josephine (Steve) Janos, of Parma, Ohio, and Caroline Rosenberger, of Reynoldsville; six grandchildren, Nicole and Jason Wisneski, Melanie Fealkovich and Don Beattie, Kim Cripe and Tim Beattie; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter, Alazea. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wisneski, in 1979, and three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Anthony Grogno. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME, New Kensington, where a funeral outside of Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, Arnold.
