Eva was born in Lithuania and was one of at least four children of William and Magdalene (Barkuck) Grincavage. She migrated to the USA circa 1900 and lived out the rest of her life in Shamokin and Coal Township.
Eva married John Wisneski, a coalminer, and together they had a family: John, Anna, Anthony, Stanley, Victoria, Albert, and Victor, several of whom died young.
At the time of her death Eva was survived by daughter Victoria Zushin of Shamokin, sons Anthony and Victor of San Diego, CA, as well as six grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren. Her husband John Wisneski died in 1918, and her brother Joseph Grincavage, also a Coal Township coalminer died in 1936. Another brother William Grinkevich (a former Coal Township coalminer) survived her and resided in Medford, WI. Her sister Anna Manikas lived in Chicago.
