John Douglas Wisdom, seventy-three years old, passed away on August 8, 2003 at his home.
He graduated from Bert High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. He had been employed by several construction companies and was a member of Teamsters Local 215.
He was a 50 plus member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church where he had served as Chairman of the Deacon Board, Chairman of the Trustee Board, church treasurer, Treasurer of the Liberty Terrace Housing Authority, President of the Senior Usher Board and Overseer of the Bus Ministry.
He is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Florence Ruby Jane Taylor Wisdom; a son, Dwayne Wisdom; brother, Richard Wisdom Jr; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Richmond and Marie Northington Wisdom Cox.
