Pearl overcame many hardships to attend and complete school, such as riding horses to and from school. She was a graduate of Callao High School Class of 1934. She was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress for the Biltwell Clothing Factory, retiring in 1986. Pearl was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salisbury and a former member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Brunswick. Pearl enjoyed picking pecans, gardening, mowing her lawn and quilting.
Pearl is survived by her son Walter Brandt and wife Donna of Salisbury; three daughter's Shirley Jean Trapp of Hudson, FL; Judith Kay Taylor and husband Billy of Adams, WI; Vallera Eloise Copple and husband Jerry of Hale, MO; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a brother-in-law Jerry Taylor of Scottsdale, AZ; several nieces, nephews and friends
