Lise R. (Wirtz) Bresnahan, 54, of 239 West St., died Sunday at home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 35 years, Richard D. Bresnahan; a son, David R. Bresnahan of Leominster; a daughter, Christine T. Hilbrunner of Woburn; four brothers, Louis Wirtz of Leominster, Peter Wirtz, Hubert Wirtz and Lionel Wirtz, all of Fitchburg; three sisters, Francine Perla, Gisele White, both of Leominster, and Andre Geiselman of Greenville, N.H.; four grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. She was born in Canada, daughter of Hubert G. and Theresa (Massie) Wirtz and grew up in Fitchburg. She lived in Leominster for the past 35 years.
Mrs. Bresnahan worked at Mohawk Wire & Cable Corp. for 17 years, retiring in 1998. She was an avid bingo player.
A memorial service will be held 8 p.m. Friday in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A calling hour will be held 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Health Alliance Diversified Visiting Nurse Association, 316 Nichols Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
