Euna M. McKay
Funeral services for Mrs. Euna M. McKay, 66, widow of Charles B. McKay, were conducted Friday, December 1, at the Hathaway Funeral Home by the Rev. W. A. Amerson. Burial was the new Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. McKay, who had been making her home with a daughter at Long Beach, Mississippi, was stricken fatally early Tuesday morning with a heart attack at the bus station in Indianapolis. She had traveled by train to Louisville, from where she took the bus to Indianapolis.
Mrs. McKay was born in Brown County May 5, 1895, the daughter of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. She was married to Charles B. McKay, who died February 4, 1955. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church.
Mrs. McKay is survived by the daughter, Mrs. George Howard of Long Beach; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur C. Miller, and Mrs. Edell Burton of Columbus, and Mrs. Neal Allen of Franklin; and two brothers, Lester Wirey of Franklin and James Wirey of Indianapolis.
