Services Are Set For Harold Wirey
EDINBURG. – Harold Wirey, 65, of Edinburgh, died at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis at 3:15 a.m. Sunday following an extended illness.
The Rev. Bruce McClure of Indianapolis will conduct funeral rites in the Mutz Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be made in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home.
Mr. Wirey was born in Brown County, July 22, 1894 and was the son of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. He was married to Ethel Stucker, August 25, 1915.

He was a member of the Edinburg Methodist Church and had been an employee of the Amos-Thompson Corp., here before his retirement ten years ago due to ill health.
He leaves the wife, Ethel Stucker Wirey, of Edinburg ; two daughters, Mrs. Ebert True and Mrs. Charles Pullen Jr. of Edinburg; two granddaughters, Rita Sue True and Janice Kay Pullen; four sisters, Mrs. Nena Allen of Franklin, Mrs. Euna McKay of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Edell Burton and Mrs. Lucille Miller of Columbus; two brothers, Lester Wirey of Franklin and James Wirey of Indianapolis.

Harold Wirey, 65, formerly of Brown County, died at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis on Sunday, January 24, 1960 after an extended illness.
Mr. Wirey was born in Brown County July 22, 1894, the son of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. He was united in marriage to Ethel Stucker on August 25, 1915.
He was a member of the Edinburg Methodist Church and had been an employee of the Amos-Thompson Corp. before his retirement ten years ago. He resided in Edinburg.
Survivors with his wife are; two daughters, Mrs. Everet [Ebert] True and Mrs. Charles Pullen, Jr. of Edinburg; two granddaughters; four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Mutz Funeral Home in Edinburg on Tuesday with Rev. Bruce McClure officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Harold Wirey Dies Yesterday At Hospital
Harold Wirey, 65, who has been in failing health for some time, died at 3:15 A.M. yesterday at the Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis.
Funeral services, to be conducted by the Reverend Bruce McClure, will be held at the Mutz Funeral Home here at 2:00 P.M. tomorrow. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Formerly an employee of Amos-Thompson, Mr. Wirey retired 10 years ago due to illness.
He was born in Brown County July 22, 1894, and was the son of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey.
On August 29, 1915 Mr. Wirey married Ethel Stucker who survives.
Surviving daughters are Mrs. Glendon True and Mrs. Jean Pullen; grandchildren are Rita Sue True and Janice Kay Pullen. All live in Edinburg.
Brothers and sisters are Lester Wirey, Franklin; James Wirey, Indianapolis; Mrs. Edell Burton and Mrs. Lucille Miller, Columbus; Mrs. Euna McKay Long Beach, Mis.; and Mrs. Nena Allen, Franklin.
Mr. Wirey was a member of the Methodist Church.
