Oma Kelley, 67, Dies
Mrs. Oma Kelley, 67, a real estate dealer in Edinburg, died at 1:30 a.m. today at Bartholomew County Hospital. She entered the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Edinburg Christian church, Christian Women's fellowship, Loyal Workers Sunday School class, Business Women's club and was a deaconess in the church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Edinburg Church, conducted by the Rev. William Schuermann, with burial at Rest Haven Cemetery. Persons may call at the Mutz Funeral Home in Edinburg from 3 p.m. Friday until 1 p.m. Saturday.
Born in Brown County Aug. 30, 1895, she was the daughter of Michael and Mary Coy Wirey.
Surviving with the husband, Leo Kelley, whom she married Aug. 9, 1916, is a son, Paul Kelley of Evansville; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Newkirk of Cortland; two sisters, Mrs. Sula Keaton of Greenwood and Mrs. Cora Galey of Edinburg; a brother, Prentice of Clinton, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren. A brother, Orphia, preceded her in death.

MRS. OMA KELLEY DIES TODAY
Mrs. Oma Kelley died at 1:30 A.M. today at the Bartholomew County Hospital. She entered the Hospital yesterday.
Mrs. Kelley had recently been ill with the flu but had attended church services last Sunday.
Funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Edinburg Christian Church will be conducted by the Reverend William Schuermann. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 3:00 P.M. Friday. The body will be taken to the Church at 1:00 P.M. Saturday.
Mrs. Kelley was in the real estate business here, was born in Brown County on August 30, 1895. Here parents were Michael and Mary Coy Wirey.
On August 9, 1961 (1916) she married Leo Kelley who survives.
Surviving children are Paul Kelley of Evansville and Mrs. Evelyn Newkirk of Cortland. There are eight grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sula Keaton of Greenwood and Mrs. Cora Galey of Edinburg and a brother, Prentice Wirey of Clinton, Tennessee.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Christian Church, the Christian Woman's Fellowship, the Loyal Workers Class and was a Deaconess. She also was a member of the Edinburg Business Woman's Club.

Edinburg Real Estate Dealer Dies Thursday
EDINBURG -- Mrs. Oma Kelley, Edinburg real estate dealer, died at 1:30 o'clock Thursday morning in the Bartholomew County Hospital where she was admitted Wednesday.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Edinburg Christian church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. William S. Schuermann, pastor of the church, in charge of the services. Burial is to be made in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Mutz Funeral Home at any time after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon and until 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon when the body will be taken to the church.

Mrs. Kelley was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Coy Wirey and was born in Brown County on Aug. 30, 1895.
She became the bride of Leo Kelley on Aug. 9, 1916, and two children were born to them.
A member of the Edinburg Christian Church, Mrs. Kelley was a deaconess, member of the C.W.F., Loyal Workers class and Edinburg Business Women.
Those who survive with the husband are a son, Paul Kelley, of Evansville; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Newkirk of Cortland; and eight grandchildren.

The Reverend William Schuermann conducted funeral services at the Edinburg Christian Church today for Mrs. Leo Kelley. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery.
During the services Mrs. Virgil Wheeler, accompanied by Mrs. Owen Breeding, sang hymns.
