Shawnee resident Lillie "Kay" Ives, 60, passed away Monday, June 6, in Oklahoma City.
She was born Aug. 22, 1944, in Palo Alto, Calif., to Charles Elmer and Jewel Mae (Denson) Winton.
Kay retired as a youth guidance specialist for the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center. She loved her grandchildren, family gatherings, picnics, and camping trips with the family. She also enjoyed reading, playing games and researching.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rita Brennan.
Kay is survived by two daughters, Kelly Coffman and husband Chuck of Shawnee, and Andrea McMillan and husband Hal of Ruther Glen, Va.; four sisters, Terry Hill of Oklahoma City, Pam Snead and husband Ron of Fair Oaks, Calif., Julia Heringer and husband Ed of Edmond, and Jo Ann Hennessey and husband Jim of Pilot Hill, Calif.; four grandchildren, Andrew Coffman, Sarah Lyon, Nathan Coffman and Kayte Coffman, all of Shawnee; and many friends and family.
Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Little Chapel of Roses with burial following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Oklahoma City.
