DEATH FOLLOWS SHORT ILLNESS
Mrs. Elizabeth Abele, 77, Succumbed Friday night at Home in City
FUNERAL SERVICE MONDAY
Mrs. Elizabeth [Winters] Abele, widow of Christian Abele, died at her home, 617 West Franklin street, Friday night at 7:45 o'clock, after a long illness. She suffered a paralytic stroke last February.
Mrs. Abele was born on May 9, 1854 at Lebanon, Ohio, being 77 years of age. Her marriage to Mr. Abele took place on August 8, 1874 and five children were born to this union. Mr. Abele's death occurred on November 9, 1925.
The deceased is survived by two sons, Frank Abele, of Seymour, and Charles Abele, of this city; and three daughters, Mrs. Lewis [Lena] Buendert, of Delafield, Wisconsin; Mrs. Fred [Edith] Whisman, of this city; and Mrs. Henry [Stella Ruth] Klund, with whom Mrs. Abele resided. Four grandchildren and one brother, John Winters, of Lebanon, Ohio, also survive. Mrs. Abele was a member of the First Baptist here.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the home, with A. E. Cowley, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in charge of Morris H. Sleeth. Friends may call at the home any time after noon Saturday.
