Raymond Carlile Winstead, Jr of Ormond Beach, FL. He was the son of Raymond, Sr and Ethel Winstead, attended Robert E Lee High and the University of Florida. Ray was extremely community minded and was involved in many organizations and efforts in Titusville. He was a past president of the Titusville Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, a past member of The First Presbyterian Church of Titusville, a 32nd Degree Mason and a charter member of the Shriners International. Ray moved to Titusville after the death of his father-in-law to assume a position in the family business: Bryan, Conway & Winstead Realtors and Insurance Agency. Imbued with a strong sense of civic duty, he decided to run for political office and in the 70's, he became Clerk of the Circuit Court for Brevard County. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Constance in October and son, Bryan Edward, surviving are children, Cheryl W (Carl) Lentz, Karl Franklin (Lynn) Winstead, Emma Louise Winstead; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Frances Gail Winstead.
