According to the US Census, Henry's father's farm was in McLean Township, Shelby County, Ohio, probably near Egypt which is really where Henry was born. Henry moved to Patterson Township, Darke County, Ohio at the time of his marriage which was March 29, 1888 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Egypt, Ohio. (the obit has an incorrect marriage date). Henry and Anna Catherine's children would have been born in Patterson Township. Henry moved to Fort Loramie after the death of his wife in 1917 (obit is again incorrect)

Nine children were born to Henry and Anna (Bruns) Winner. Eleanora Rose was born March 2, 1902 and died June 7, 1991, the wife of Leo Inderrieden. In addition to those listed below, a son, Henry Carl was born April 27, 1892 and died the same day.
