Jeanette Elizabeth Winegard, age 74 of Mediapolis, died Friday, January 19, 2001 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. The daughter of Arthur J. and Esther Anderson Hartman, she was born December 13, 1926 at Burlington. On July 15, 1946 she married Gerald Winegard at Burlington. She was a 1944 graduate of Burlington High School. In earlier yearsa she worked for Benner Tea Company in Burlington. She was an Avon representative and she and her husband operated Patriot Antiques in Mediapolis for 20 years. She was of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include her husband of Mediapolis; two daughters, Lynda Winegard of Burlington and Rhonda Bourgeois of Woodlans, Texas; one son, Terry Winegard of Evergreen, Colorado; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons; two brothers, Arthur of Kansas and Paul of Missouri; two sisters, Marguerite Jankowski of Burlington and Marilyn Eisenhart of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents.
