Arceola Windham Belle was born May 23, 1926, to Jodie Windham and Gennie Simmons Windham in Neshoba County, MS.
During her youth, she joined Simmons Chapel Church in Collinsville, MS. After marriage, she joined St. Mark United Methodist Church in DeKalb, MS, where she served faithfully until her death.
On March 6, 1954, she married Calvin Augusta Belle, the son of Alvin Belle and Amanda Reed Belle, and they had no children.
She attended T.J. Harris High School in Meridian, MS, and continued her education at Jackson State College in Jackson, MS, where she majored in Elementary Education. She also received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Certificate in Special Education.
She worked in the Kemper County School System for 48 years before she retired.
She died September 13, 2010, at the age of 84.
She was the Wife of Calvin Augusta Belle; the Daughter of Jodie Windham and Gennie Simmons Windham; and the Sister of Ernestine Windham Love, Sarah Windham Foster, Norwedia Windham, Andrew Windham, Jodie Windham, Marzell Windham, George Windham, Breely Windham, and Willie Clarence Windham.
