AARON Barbara (12/9/1926) One of nature's noble women- a woman of most excellent worth and character, departed from her home in the Herman Flats, in Clarion, last Friday, Dec 1, 1926 at 7:00 a.m. when Mrs. Barbara Aaron, wife of the late Bernard F. Aaron, closed her eyes upon earthly scenes and earthly friends and opened them upon glorious life beyond.
Mrs. Aaron was afflicted with diabetes and has been failing for some months past, and finally quietly passed out of her suffering to the realm where there is no more sickness or suffering.
Miss Barbara Wilt was the daughter of John and Catherine Wilt and was born March 30, 1851, near Sligo, where her father was employed at one of the iron furnaces. She was united in wedlock with Bernard F. Aaron on June 25, 1877, and they established their home in Clarion. Her husband and three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Mr. Aaron died Oct. 23, 1885, but she is survived by four sons, namely, Ed. F. Aaron, Lansing, Mich.; Frank P., Wheeling, W. Va.; John S., Wilkinsburg, and Bernard J. Aaron, Beaver Falls. One brother, George Wilt, New Bethlehem, also survives.
Mrs. Aaron was a devout and loyal member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Clarion all of these years, and was known and noted for her fine Christian character and her broad Christian charity. She was especially kindly of heart and was always delighted when she could help the suffering or care for the sorrowing, or when she could be of service to those in need of help. She was always bright, cheerful and shed sunshine all around her, and naturally she made hosts of friends wherever she went.
Her funeral was held at the church of her choice which she revered last Monday, the Rev. fr. A.A. Fischer celebrating Raquiem High Mass with prayers for the repose of her soul. Interment followed in the Clarion Catholic Cemetery.
