Mary "Shirley" (Wilson) Adams, 77, of West Suffield, wife of the late Merlyn Austin Adams, died Thursday, (June 7, 2001) at a local nursing home.
She was born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Theodore and Corrine Wilson and lived in West Suffield most of her life. Mary was employed at Hamilton Standard for 25 years retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Adams is survived by three daughters, Sandra Lee Gregory of Brandon FL, Gwen Gorski of West Suffield, Barbara Bergan of West Suffield; a sister, Marjorie Fontaine of Springfield, MA; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Rita Chambers; and a brother, Theodore Wilson.
The funeral services will be Mon., June 11, 9 a.m. from the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Rd., West Suffield with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in West Suffield Cemetery.
