Mrs. Allen (Mother) accepted Christ at an early age. After moving from Waco, Texas with her family, she united with the Pleasant Olive Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Rev. J. W. Williams. After moving to Dallas, Texas, she later (1960) united with the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park until her death on September 21, 2010.
Mrs. Allen (Mother) was preceded in death by her parents Thirkield and Ruby Malone Wilson; husband of 63 years Emanuel Allen, Sr.; daughter Gail Allen Scott; son Michael Anthony Allen; sister Permiror Wilson Gilmore and brother Thirkield (Dooley) Wilson, Jr.
