Missouri Frances Wilson married Jacob Carr on August 25, 1881 in Harris County, Texas, and they later divorced.
In addition to the children linked below, she was the mother of Thomas Irvin Carr (1900-1970), who was cremated at Brookside Crematory in Houston and Chester Wilson Carr (1897-1925), whose death certificate says burial in a private cemetery.
Mrs Missouri Frances Carr, 70, 3208 Jensen, died Thursday at her home. She had been a resident of Houston for 61 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Nellie Meley, Mrs Nora Kressley and Mrs Alice Leonard; four sons, Frank, Ed, Irvin, all of Houston and J. D. Carr of Humble; one sister, Mrs Steven R. Wynne of Mineral Wells; twenty grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Fogle-West Chapel. Rev D.L. Griffith will conduct the services. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Active pallbeareres will be: Roy G. Meley, Claude A. Kressley, Paul A. Kressley, James A. Kressley, Willie D. Leonard and Frank Leonard. Fogle-West Company.
