She graduated from Buffalo High School and Enid General Hospital School of Nursing. She married Morton Hay in August 1960. She was a member of Lucien United Methodist Church, serving as treasurer, and was active in Agape Circle of United Methodist Women. She also was a member of a home demonstration club and Wipple Ladies Aid.
Surviving are one son, Marcus Hay; one daughter, Jarilyn Brauser; two brothers and three grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Morton, she was preceded in death by one sister.
