Martha Helen Willoughby was the fourth child of Elisha Augustus Willoughby and Sarah Elizabeth Pentico Willoughby. Little Martha died just a few days before her first birthday. Her death was surely mourned by the entire community of settlers around Elk Creek, many of whom were related to each other.
