She was the daughter of the late George Willis and the late Mabel (Glover) Willis. She is also survived by her husband Mr. Smith Ballard, Sr.; five daughters, Mrs. Sherri J Willis Catron (Darrell) of Cordova, TN, Mrs. Margaret Ballard Ervin (Danny) of Millington, TN, Miss. Carla (Ballard) Taylor of Memphis, TN, Miss. Cynthia (Ballard) Hall of Memphis, TN and Ms. Felecia Ballard of Memphis, TN; seven sons, Mr. Zedric A. Willis of Little Rock, AR, Mr. Darryl W. Willis of Memphis, TN, Mr. Timothy R Willis of West Memphis, AR, Mr. Smith Ballard, Jr. of Munford, TN, Mr. Perry Ballard of Memphis, TN, Mr. Gregory Ballard of Memphis, TN and Mr. Ray Ballard of Munford, TN; twenty grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by R. S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home, 374 Vance Avenue, Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church from 10-11:55 a.m., Saturday, October 6. Funeral service will be at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church at Noon, Saturday, October 6, Dr. James A. Adams officiating. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Hill Cemetery in Germantown, TN.
